Since my last update
Since my last update I've been a bit busy. In August we went to San Antonio to see our son Matthew graduate from Air Force basic training. He went on to Sheppard AFB to become a jet engine mechanic and is in the AF Reserves. He will be stationed at Moody AFB and will be working mostly on A-10's.
When we got home I entered a couple of stitched pictures in the Georgia National Fair and won a couple of ribbons. Alpine Garden by The Drawn Thread, I got a first place and best in Category for that one
Orchid by Mirabellia won second place in it's category. That one was such a quick stitch I'm looking to do a few more of the flower ones in the new year.
All my kids and my new daughter in law were here for the holiday's. We had a blast while they were here. We went and saw Les Miserables and the Hobbit and enjoyed both movies.
I'm working on my list of want to stitch for next year. I need to not make such a large list but sometimes I can't help myself.

More Stitching (or how what I do while watching Grey's Anatomy of Lifetime:))
Ever since I finished The Wedding I have made it a mission to work on a few smaller projects I have in my stash (except for a couple of HAED's) I have started. I been working on Orchid by Nora Corbert and Lily of the Valley also by Nora, which was given to me as a birthday gift last year by a stitching friend. For my HAED I am working on Power and Prestige and I am going to do CavaLiers on Wicker Chairs also an HAED. My husband loves those little doggies and I'm thinking that is as close as I'm gonna get to one.I guess I'll start pulling floss for the little doggies this weekend, I have the fabric for it so floss is all that is needed to start:)

Long overdue update
I have a long overdue update. My middle sone got married this past Sunday to a very beautiful young lady. I had always wanted to stitch The Wedding by Lavender and Lace but never had the occasion to do so until now. It took me about a year and a half to do and the last month before my self imposed deadline I was stitcing 8 to 10 hours a day on it. I think my poor hubby is tired of Grey's Anatomy I watched it a lot while working on this project. But I made it on time and it turned out very nice if I do say so myself. I took it to Hobby Lobby to have it framed and then over to a wonderful You Mail It type place to send it off. They wrapped it very well and it made it to the bride and groom without issue. I made them wait until I got there to actually open it.
Now I am back to my rotation. Or at least what I think my rotation is going to be. I put a couple of easier, not a lot of one color pieces in the rotation. I will see how that works out over the never month or so.
